Terms and Conditions when Riding Your Own Bike

Ride Adventure, part of Trail Rides Wales, require the following:

• If you have a medical condition, please inform the guide.
• If over 18, to sign an indemnity stating that it is understood that this is a pontentially dangerous activity.
• If under 18, to be accompanied by a responsible adult who will countersign the indemnity. If the responsible adult is not a parent or guardian, the young person needs to send an appropriately signed consent form to be received one week before the riding or passengering day.
• Please do not overtake the leader unless he signals you to do so. If he is going slowly, it is for a reason. Ride with courtesy and consideration, both for other users and your riding companions.
• Please do not wheelie or do stoppies. It gives a bad impression to the public.
• Riders showing no respect for the countryside or other users of the byways and unclassified roads will not be tolerated. The ride leader reserves the right to cancel the ride at any time during the day.
• Please inform us if there is a change in the number or type of people if this changes subsequent to the original bookings. Remember that emails can sometimes go astray. If making changes, please ask for confirmation that the changes have been noted. Thank you.

Lunch and petrol stops

We usually go to a cafe, so please bring some money! If you ride a bike which has a range of less than 80 miles, please let us know so we can make plans for your refuelling.

Dates

• Dates are allocated first come, first served.
• If the date you chose cannot be adhered to, you may change the date.

Payment Information

• Full payment must be made by bank transfer, credit or debit card, Paypal or cheque cleared by three weeks before your booked date.
• If you book more than two months in advance and pay in full at the time of booking, a discounted price applies.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for Christmas and birthday presents. A non-refundable charge of £25 is made for the issue of the gift voucher.

Cancellation or Postponement Policy

Cancellation or postponement by the client:

• No fee is charged if you cancel before you have paid.
• If you book more than one day's riding, you will not receive a refund if you decide after the first day that you do not want to ride on the other days.
• If you cancel before one month and have paid in advance, a refund less £10 per person, will be given. No refund is given if you cancel less than a month before your date(s). You may choose another date within two years. If there is a price rise, the price at the original date booked will be held over for six months.

Cancellation by Ride Adventure, part of Trail Rides Wales:

• Bookings early or late in the year could be affected by bad weather. Normally an alternative date will be offered.
• If an alternative date is impossible to arrange, a refund less £5 per person will be made.
