Colin

Colin runs Trail Rides Wales for trail riders, and maintains the fleet of Ride Adventure bikes as well. In the past he has competed in roadracing, motocross and enduros. His road and track day bike is a green and silver 2008 Benelli Tornado Tre, and his enduro bike is a Husqvarna WR250 two stroke. He also has a classic 1978 Benelli 250cc two stroke and a 23 year old BMW K100 for road journeys with Lucie pillion. He likes classic cars as well. He is restoring a 1987 Yamaha 350 powervalve which used to belong to Sean Emmett, former WSB rider, and an Alfa Romeo GTV1750.


Marianne

Marianne has been riding motorbikes for many years, both solos and sidecars, and has been teaching beginners and improvers since 1992. She was the first woman to qualify as a coach with the ACU, the main governing body of motorcycle sport. Their accreditation scheme is widely recognised. She used to compete as an enduro sidecar driver, and still does the occasional event with her daughter Barbara passengering. Younger daughter Lucie passengers on fun days and green laning, and will be old enough to compete in ACU events this summer. Marianne’s road and track day bike is a 2008 Yamaha R6.


Lucie

Lucie, aged 16, began riding motorbikes offroad in 2003 on the Yamaha RT100, and now rides a Honda CRF230 or a Husqvarna TE250 offroad, and passengers on the sidecar. She has a Rieju 50 for road and trail.
